School Beautification and FINAL day to purchase tickets!

Last day for tickets is tomorrow — Tuesday!

If you are still thinking about purchasing tickets for the auction you have until tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21st at midnight to do so. Click here to go to the Event/RSVP page to sign up online. There will be lots of great items to bid on, a casino and games, and lots of friends and neighbors to see.

Steering Committee Update–School Beautification

School Beautification has started. You may have noticed a few of the beds around the school have been cleaned up–this was donated by the Cottage Gardeners Garden Club. A preliminary plan has been proposed using blues and green school colors theme. The beautification committee is working with the school district to start the painting. We’re looking at having the doors and columns painted as well as some direction signs. Look for these updates coming! We’ll keep you posted.

Class Projects are in process!

Please check out the Class Projects page, we will be posting pictures of the class projects as the pictures are available. Ms. Eckart’s 5th Grade class project is currently in progress and Mrs. Anderson’s 1st grade class project is complete.


If you are interested in helping out the auction, purchasing basket items is a great way to do that! We need to have all of the items purchased and received no later than May 1st–basket assembly will be on May 4th. Thank you so much for your support!


If you are not coming to the auction this year, but would still like to help out, we’re looking for some volunteers to help us out!

Friday May 1st: Auction work party 9am

Monday May 4th: Basket Assembly party 9am

Friday May 8th: 8:30am – 2pm Auction Day set up! We need lots of help this day. We’ll likely need some drivers to take baskets and class projects to the Marriott. We’ll also need help setting up the event. If you can help for any part of the day is great, every hand counts!

Friday May 8th: 4:45pm – 10pm Auction Event Volunteer. If you have not bought a ticket to the auction, but would like to come help out we need the help! Volunteering is fun and consists of selling raffles, check in, runner, recorder, etc. Training provided:)

Thank you so much for all of your support, it really takes the entire community to pull off our auction. Without the auction we wouldn’t have our science teacher and additional staff hours that make Bear Creek special. Please visit the About page and ABC Funds page for additional information about the auction.


  • We’ll be updating the parties page this week and we’ll be getting the live and silent items up on the website as well.
  • Don’t forget to keep your receipts for anything you’ve purchased for a basket, if you’ve donated to your class auction project, or if you donated an item to the auction. Then print out an Receipt of Donation and keep that info together for your taxes next spring.
