It’s been awhile for an update and there’s a lot of information we want to pass along!
Flip -Flop Lemon-Drop Party!
This is our ladies only party, hosted by the Auction Committee and the Overcash’s. This year the theme is Flip-Flop Lemon-Drop! It’s going to be a lot of fun. The party date is Saturday, May 31st at 7pm–mark your calendars now! Tickets for the party will be on sale in the silent auction. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket to the party, but are not going to the auction, please email Brooke Jones, email@example.com.
Class Projects are up!
Take a peak at some of the class projects that will be sold at the auction. There are descriptions for all of the projects, but only pictures for a few. If you have pictures of your class project, please email them to Kim Hagstrom, firstname.lastname@example.org
Live items are up on the website! Take a look at the list of items on the new Live Auction page. I’ll be adding pages for the silent items as well, so be on the look out for those too! There are lots of fantastic items up for auction this year. Start thinking about which items you want to bid on! If you have any questions about any of these items please let me know.
We are doing the cashiering a little differently this year. We did not hire a cashiering company and the cashiering is going to be run by volunteers. We will be imprinting credit cards and taking email addresses at registration (very old school), but you will not receive a final bill at the end of the night. You will receive any pink slips for silent and live item purchases, but you will not receive a final bill. A final bill will be emailed to you the Tuesday following the auction. This receipt will have your final tally of live and silent purchases, plus any additional purchases (raffles, wine toss, dessert dash, etc.). You will have a week to look over your receipt and let us know of any issues. If you wish to split an item (like a large live auction purchase) with another family we can make these changes at that time. After the week is up we will charge your credit cards with the final charge. If you are paying with cash or check, you will receive a receipt that night and will be required to pay at closing. This is different than how we have run cashiering in the past, if you have any questions please let me know.
WINE and BEER Wanted
We need wine and beer for the wine toss! Clean out your wine fridge, pick up your Club wine at Chateau Ste. Michelle, ask your neighbors–we WANT it! We’ll pick it up from you–contact Brooke (Brooke@rbjsolutions.com), Sherie Overcash (email@example.com) or Jeni Connelly (Jeni.Connelly@overlakehospital.org). You can also drop wine off at Brooke’s house–17900 185th Ave. NE. (A big THANK YOU to the person who dropped off that 6 pack of wine the other day–that was awesome!)
We are looking for a few good volunteers to help set up the auction during the day on Friday May 2nd. If you would like to help, please email Cari (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let her know! We need drivers and general set up volunteers. We’ll be starting at the Marriott at 8:30am and we’ll start basket pick-ups at 8am. Come when you can! It’s a lot of fun to watch the event come together!
Great Wolf Lodge Raffle
The raffle is going strong! If you are not attending the auction and would like to purchase raffle tickets, please visit the raffles and games page to print the form and find out what you win. Then, return the form to the office (auction box). You do not need to be present to win! Raffle tickets will also be sold during the silent auction.
The auction is just over a week away! Don’t forget we’ll be dancing and socializing after the live this year. We can’t wait to see you there!
